Traction Therapy
Traction Therapy is a non-surgical alternative in the treatment of Disc Pain and Facet Syndrome, involving the neck and lower back. Using prolonged gentle stretching of the muscle tissue and ligaments, traction therapy unloads excessive pressure from the bones. Traction therapy has been a highly successful treatment for patients with symptoms of bulging, herniated, or degenerative discs, as well as sciatica, headache, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Most often used on the Lumbar and Cervical regions, traction therapy is performed in a clinic with use of Electric Motorized traction tables, and at home with over the door pulley systems, or home traction units.
