Using prolonged gentle stretching of the muscle tissue and ligaments, traction therapy unloads excessive pressure from the bones. Traction therapy has been a highly successful treatment for patients with symptoms of bulging, herniated, or degenerative discs, as well as sciatica, headache, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
